












C!AO Event Management specializes in corporate and promotional events, delivering contemporary, innovative and original events across the globe. We were approached by Melanie Woodward – owner of C!AO Event Management – to create a website and promotional material.
C!AO already had an established logo so that was certainly an aspect of the brief we had to take into consideration. The personality of the company was a direct reflection of the owner – fun, fresh and proactive – this was something we wanted to capture when we approached the design of the collateral. We also wanted the company to look like the work they produce – contemporary, innovative and original.
When we met up with Melanie prior to starting work it was clear she had a grand plan to take the young company into a global market. So that was something we took into consideration when approaching the visual language of the design.
We began by producing a website. Using the already established corporate logo we designed a fun and fresh site to compliment it. The images we selected reflect the international nature of the past and present clients. By not only using images of scenery from around the world but also carefully selecting a diverse selection of people gave the site a subtle world theme.
This concept was taken into a print format by creating a small promotional mailer. The international theme was taken a step further by promoting the world-wide influence. Images from around the globe such as Paris, Pisa and Sydney set in a ‘holiday Polaroid’ montage really promote the notion of travel and experience.
